Robert Oosterhuis

Robert Oosterhuis (1960) is sociologist and was research coordinator culture and media at the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science until his retirement in 2025. He was personal secretary of the late Norbert Elias, worked as manager, researcher, editor and civil servant in The Netherlands. He published articles and reports, and was member of the board of governors of cultural organizations. He plays guitar in the band Scoobaloos.
